Public transport
The starting point of the route is easily and conveniently accessible by public transport. In Bolzano at the valley station of the Rittner cable car 161, a gondola departs every 4 minutes and in just 12 minutes you reach Oberbozen. If you start in Oberbozen with the Rittner narrow-gauge railway 160 at 8:36, 9:36, 10:06, 10:36, 11:06, 11:36, 12:36, 13:36, 14:46 and 15:36, you can catch the connecting bus 166 from Klobenstein at the station square at 9:03, 9:28, 10:03, 10:28, 11:03, 11:28, 12:03, 13:03, 14:03, 15:03, 15:28 ... after ten minutes' ride with bus 166 you reach Pemmern, the valley station of the Rittner Horn cable car.
Return trip from Pemmern to Klobenstein with bus 166 at 9:16, 9:41, 10:16, 10:41, 11:16, 11:41, 12:41, 13:41, 14:41, 15:16, 15:41, 16:16, 16:41, 17:16 and 17:41. Connection with the Rittner narrow-gauge railway at the '6 or '36 of each hour back to Oberbozen and further with the Rittner cable car to Bolzano. Day ticket for public transport (from Bolzano to the valley station of the Rittner Horn cable car) for adults €20 and for children from 6 to 14 years €10. Children under 6 years travel for free. Also valid with RittenCard, BozenCard, BrixenCard, KlausenCards.... Mobilcards, Museumobilcards, subscriptions and value cards. The private Rittner Horn cable car is also included in the RittenCard, BozenCard and KlausenCard.

Parking options: Valley station of the Rittner Horn cable car or in Klobenstein (free parking in the Ritten Arena). From there it is a five-minute walk to the bus station where bus 166 departs. The parking lot in Pemmern at the valley station of the Rittner cable car is also bookable online at www.ritten.com/mobil
