Combine your visit to Margreid a.d.W. with a hike through the surrounding vineyards. Particularly recommended is the Margreid–Penon–Margreid circular hike (approx. 7.3 km), which leads through vineyards and via Entiklar before returning to Margreid. Another lovely option is the Kofl-Leitenweg (Murundum Trail No. 5) from Margreid via Entiklar to Penon and back. The Three Villages Trail between Entiklar, Margreid and Kurtinig, passing through vineyards and biotopes, is another good choice.

Our modern packaging company cultivates 750 ha of arable land and has circa 500 members. The amount of apples we process every year totals an average of 4,800 wagons of eating apples. The strengths of our company lie in the sunny apple orchards which are located in the southern South Tyrol, the cultivation in accordance with the AGRIOS and GLOBALGAP guidelines, the availability of fresh fruit the whole year long as well as every kind of package and an immediate delivery.

Parking

For parking, you can use the commuter car park at Margreid-Kurtatsch railway station. From there, Kurmark-Unifrut is only a few minutes’ walk away.

Description to arrive at destination

Kurmark-Unifrut is located at Bahnhofstraße 38 in Margreid a.d.W.. If you are travelling by car on the A22 motorway, take the Neumarkt-Auer exit and continue along the South Tyrolean Wine Road towards Margreid a.d.W.. In the village, follow the signs for Bahnhofstraße. The facility is located close to Margreid-Kurtatsch railway station.

Public transport

From Bolzano, you can take the train directly to Margreid-Kurtatsch railway station. The station is only about 500 metres from Kurmark-Unifrut, so the remaining distance can easily be covered on foot. Alternatively, Margreid a.d.W. can also be reached by bus via Neumarkt.
