Along the trail, informative panels and interactive stations invite you to learn more about the region’s long-standing winemaking heritage and the distinctive characteristics of this fine grape variety. Neumarkt – Mazon – Neumarkt
A particularly charming section begins in the historic centre of Neumarkt, with its picturesque arcades. The trail climbs towards Mazon via the Geigerhäuslsteig path, passing through idyllic vineyards at the foot of Trudner Horn Nature Park. Along the way, you will pass the ruins of Kaldiff Castle, historic wine estates and St Michael’s Church. The return to Neumarkt follows the Mazoner Spazierweg walking trail.
This circular walk is approximately 5 km long, takes around 1.5 hours and includes about 230 metres of elevation gain. It is ideal for combining vineyard scenery, history and local delights on a leisurely outing.
