Animal World Rainguthof in Gfrill/Caprile

At the small old Rainguthof farm, families with children will find the Rainguthof animal park, a veritable Noah’s Ark: domestic and farm animals, birds, small animals and wild game romp on a small lawn with a playground and parking lot.

Children can pet many of the animals, and there are always young animals present. Seeing a young mouflon or deer calf is a real experience for younger guests.

As the paths are not tarmac, we only recommend visiting with pushchairs and wheelchairs in good weather and on dry paths. As the path from the entrance building to the first enclosures is somewhat steep, it is recommended that visitors with physical disabilities take an accompanying person with them to assist them.

Dogs may be taken along - provided they are kept on a leash.

The Rainguthof is open all year round for a voluntary donation and is located directly on the road leading up to the Gampen Pass about 2 km above the village of Gfrill in the municipality of Tisens. There is a large free car park directly at the Rainguthof animal world.
