For all you water babies and sun worshippers it is time to book
your next holiday in South Tyrol.
Here in the South Tyrol Unterland you will find exactly what you have always been looking for:
The south of South Tyrol… it’s a pleasure to go for a dip!
- Four fantastic open-air swimming pools in Auer, Neumarkt, Salurn and Tramin with large pools, water slides, springboards and everything else necessary for fun in the water. The open-air pool in Auer has a pool for swimming and a children’s pool, a slide, a large sunbathing area, a beach volleyball court, a chessboard and a self-service restaurant. The Neumarkt adventure pool has four swimming pools (with a pool for non-swimmers as well as a children’s pool), two diving platforms, a 30 m long slide, a large sunbathing area partly shaded by trees, a 40x20 m enclosed football pitch, a beach volleyball court with real sand from the coast, a children’s play park, a self-service restaurant and a large car park. And the Salurn open-air pool invites you with a total of 4 pools: children’s pool with slide, swimming pool with 2 springboards, a normal swimming pool, a pool with slide, a huge lawn where you can spread out and relax until the sun goes down and a restaurant. The Tramin sport and adventure pool offers you a jacuzzi, the “wild river”, the “waterfall”, climbing walls, a pool with underwater jets, underwater massages, counter-current device, children’s slides, a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving area, a terrace-shaped sunbathing lawn, a playing field, a volleyball court, a beach volleyball court and a restaurant.
- Only a few kilometres away is Lake Kaltern, the warmest lake for bathing in the Alps and the small and large Montiggl lakes.
- And for those who find it too hot in the valley there is the opportunity to cool down in nearby mountain lakes, such as the Fennberger See high above Kurtatsch, the Göllersee in Aldein or in the Black and White Lakes in Truden.
